Cape Epic 2018 Team World Bicycle Relief

George Hincapie and Christain VandeVelde will be riding the Cape Epic 2018 for Team World Bicycle Relief

This March, George and Christian are racing the Absa Cape Epic, one of the most grueling mountain bike stage races in the world. For 8 days, we will race through some 800km of unspoiled terrain, up 15,000m of accumulated climbing over some of the most magnificent mountain passes in South Africa.

“Riding has been a part of our lives for as long as we can remember. We have decided we want to make this adventure about more than just ourselves. Our goal is to help mobilize others through the Power of Bicycles. By working with World Bicycle Relief, our goal is to raise enough to distribute 50 bicycles into the field. Just $147 puts a new bike into the hands of a student trying to get to school or a mother trying to get life-saving healthcare for her child.” Christian VandeVelde
