Local sports marketing agency, Stillwater Sports has released an exciting 2021 Mountain Biking (MTB) Events Calendar that includes an iconic two-day stage race, a family focused one day event and a kid’s event all in the Western Cape as well as a renowned one-day race in the North West Province.

“I don’t think we’ve ever been this excited to release event dates,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports. “2020 has been a rollercoaster of a year and we can’t wait to bring back some form of normality. One thing is for sure, we have new-found appreciation for our events. We’ve missed the excitement felt on event day, the interaction with entrants, the action on route and catching up in the festival village. We have an exciting line up of mountain biking events planned for 2021. The action will kick off in April with the Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience. A two-day stage race where mountain bikers can look forward to experiencing a vast network of world-class trails while celebrating the origin of SA mountain biking.”

“In June we’ll head to the North West Province for the Fedhealth Magalies Monster MTB Classic,” continues Meyer. “Most mountain bikers will agree that this event should not be underestimated, it is called ‘The Monster’ after all. Featuring the best off-road routes on offer in the North West Province, the Fedhealth Magalies Monster MTB Classic possesses the perfect balance between challenge and reward. In September we head back to the Western Cape where we celebrate the start of Spring at the action-packed Fedhealth MTB Challenge. A fun-filled event for riders of all ages and capabilities, the Fedhealth MTB Challenge is an excellent chance for families to enjoy quality time together in the great outdoors.”
