The organizers of SA’s ‘MTB Party of the Year’, the Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience that will take place at Coetzenburg Stellenbosch University on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November 2022 are looking to crown the event’s two best dressed riders (x1 male and x1 female). As motivation R20 000 (R10 000 each) and 20 cases of Savanna (10 cases each) is up for grabs.
Event organizer Stillwater Sports together with title sponsor, Savanna is bringing new meaning to the phrase ‘MTB Party of the Year’ with the addition of exhilarating offerings including live performances by a well-known SA comedian, exciting sponsor competitions, an exclusive Pub Ride through Stellenbosch, the option to stay in the First Ascent Tented Village, an event party for riders on Saturday evening and a fun Best Dressed Competition.
“The MTB party of the year would just not be complete without a best dressed category and all the reward and recognition that goes with it. We’re excited to incorporate this category into the 2022 Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience,” says Kavir Gangiah, Media, Sponsorship and Events Lead Distell Southern Africa. “There are no limitations, the only requirement is to be creative and bring the GEES.”
Best Dressed Competition: Thecompetition will take place on the Sunday. Entrants need to start and finish the stage wearing their outfits. The three best dressed riders (male and female) will be identified and asked to attend prize giving where their fellow mountain bikers will get to vote for the two winners.

DRESS UP COMPETITION: Stage Two of the Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience (Sunday 20 November) will be Dress Up Day. The two best dressed riders will receive R10 000 in cash as well as ten cases of Savanna(each).
