Happy to start ‘Mission Part 5’ towards
the Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028 together!
German National Champion XCO and XCC , Lia Schrievers, is ready to start her
‘road’ to the Olympic Games in Los Angeles 2028 together with the
KMC Ridley Mountainbike Racing Team.
Lia (DOB 09.02.1998), living in Bayreuth and Regensburg, Germany, started her
mountainbike career when she was 15 years young.
The reason why she went riding the mountain bike?
Lia loves to be out on her bike in nature and she likes to test her limits!
Lia is eager and ready to improve herself on international UCI World Series level.
Lia Schrievers founded her own mountain bike team two years ago, the Team1Vision. Her
vision was to combine professional sport with social commitment. Her friends will continue
the team, supporting Lia with her next step in professional mountain bike.
Bart Brentjens, Team Director of ‘KMC Ridley Mountainbike Racing Team’:
“Lia is very talented, and has shown strong growth in her performance last year, both XCC
and XCO. Lia was the driving force behind her own team, Team1Vision.
Now that she no longer has to arrange all these details by herself, I am convinced that we
will see great results from Lia in our team. I’m really looking forward to work with her.”
Lia Schrievers, international Elite Women mountainbiker:
“KMC Ridley is a very established team and one of the top teams in the circuit for years. I
believe this will give me the environment I need to go the next step in being the fastest
version of myself. The professional structure will allow me to focus more on my training and recovery and next to it leave time to follow my vision.”
