The Mahala Magic MTB Race is an initiative by WildTrail SA and BoutTime Events. The idea behind this event is to host a once-off mountain biking event that will be SA’s very first completely free MTB race. This will be an opportunity for industry players to give something back to the cycling community who has supported their businesses throughout the years and will continue to do so.
1500 riders will get all the bells and wistles of a proper event BUT without paying a cent entry fee.
The trails
Expect jeep track, loads of single track and some country roads. There will be some fast, flowing single track sections, a few proper climbs, a sandy patchhere and there and of course also those fast downhills we all love so much.
The route is not technical but it is mountain biking so there will be one or two short technical sections just to keep things interesting.
