Somabula Nature Reserve

Ideally situated for weekend getaways, only one hour from Johannesburg and 40 minutes from Pretoria. We have 400 hectares of indigenous trees, pristine bush and excellent birding. The reserve boasts a wide variety of antelope as well as giraffe, zebra and wildebeest. Smaller animals, interesting insects and reptiles can also be viewed.

There are more than 30km of road and trails for walking and mountain biking in an area rich in wildlife and history. Although there are no official trails, the animal paths offer interesting destinations as you ride through the bush and trees.
