Bluewater Named Official Water Purification and Remineralisation Partner of FNB Wines2Whales

Bluewater has partnered with FNB Wines2Whales as the Official Water Purification and Remineralisation Partner of South Africa’s favourite mountain bike race. Through the partnership, riders will have access to purified and remineralised still and sparkling water throughout the Race Villages, enhancing the rider experience while supporting the event’s sustainability objectives.
Cape Town, October 20, 2026 – Bluewater has partnered with FNB Wines2Whales as the Official Water Purification and Remineralisation Partner, bringing premium hydration solutions to South Africa’s favourite three-day mountain bike stage race. The partnership will see Bluewater provide purified and remineralised still and sparkling water throughout the Race Villages, ensuring riders have convenient access to high-quality drinking water before and after each stage.
Established in 2009, FNB Wines2Whales has become one of South Africa’s most iconic mountain bike stage races, attracting more than 3,000 riders annually across the Chardonnay, Pinotage and Shiraz events. Renowned for combining world-class trails with exceptional hospitality, the event continues to focus on delivering the best possible rider experience both on and off the bike.

As part of the partnership, Bluewater will deploy its mobile water purification trailers and hydration stations across the Race Villages. Riders will be able to refill reusable cups and waterbottles with chilled still and sparkling water throughout the event, reducing reliance on single-use plastic bottles while maintaining a premium hydration experience.
