“Henko A&T, welcome to the Team!”
- Proud to welcome a new Team sponsor from outside the cycling industry –
We are pleased to announce and introduce our new Team sponsor, Henko A&T.
Henko A&T is a Dutch company with global reputation for supplying
high-quality adhesives, tools and related products specially developed for the
entire artificial turf market.
Wynand Hendriks, CEO of Henko A&T started the company in 2008, the same year
that the Brentjens Mountainbike Team was founded by Bart Brentjens.
Both Wynand and Bart were born in Limburg, the south of the Netherlands, met
each other in 2025, and recognized each other in taking on challenges, the drive
and pursuit of delivering top performances and products, and their passion sport.
A visit by Wynand to the UCI 2025 Mountainbike World Championships, led to a
collaboration – starting in 2026 – on the ‘runway’ to the LA2028 Olympic Games.
Henko A&T is not the first adhesive company to sponsor cycling, more international
players in adhesive production are sponsoring road cycling.
We are excited to welcome Henko A&T to the international Olympic mountainbike!
Wynand Hendriks, CEO of Henko A&T:
“Innovation, reliability, and top performance are central to everything we do. We
recognize these same values in the ambition and mentality of Bart and his
mountainbike team.
The road to the Olympic Games requires vision, dedication, and teamwork. It’s a
journey where every detail counts, where equipment, preparation, and trust make
the difference between good and exceptional.
That’s precisely where Henko A&T and Bart Brentjens’ team find common ground.
Just as we create sports fields worldwide where athletes can perform at the
highest level, we now want to contribute to performances on the highest stage:
the Olympic Games.
By combining our knowledge, support, and commitment with the experience,
passion and elite-sport mentality of Bart and his team, we are building a
foundation for succes together.
This collaboration isn’t just about support; it’s about a shared mission: pushing
boundaries, continuously improving, and getting the most out of both people and
equipment. Together, we work purposefully, with confidence in the process and a
clear vision of the end goal.
Henko A&T believes in this approach. Together with Bart and his team, we’re doing
everything we can to make that Olympic dream a reality”.
Bart Brentjens, Teamdirector KMC Nukeproof Mountainbike Racing Team:
“We are thrilled with our sponsorship and partnership with Henko A&T.
Seeing the enthusiasm and confidence in what we’re doing as a team is incredibly
energizing.
Henko A&T is a Dutch company that delivers top-notch performance and always
strives for improvement. This aligns perfectly with what we stand for as a team. It’s
especially rewarding that Henko A&T contributes significantly to the development
of sports (artificial turf fields) in a broader sense.
Henko’s CEO, Wynand Hendriks, has a deep passion for sports, and you can feel it.
This inspires motivation and confidence. We are proud to be a Henko A&T
ambassador”.
RUNWAY L 28- The Olympic Games in Los Angeles will be held July 14 to Sunday July 30, 2028 –
With our Team, we started Mission Part 5 in January 2025. Mission Part 5 is a four
year cycle that works towards the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, 2028.
The next Olympic Summer Games in 2028, will bring back mountain biking to its
roots where it all started, in California USA. LA2028 will be the first Olympic Games
back in the USA, after the Centennial Games of Atlanta 1996, where mountain
biking became an Olympic discipline.
