Rietvlei Trails are located on a beautiful farm called Rietvlei Zoo Farm, south of Johannesburg.
There are various trails suitable for all ages from beginners to intermediary and professional levels.
The Rietvlei Trails include bike trails, hiking trails, walking and running trails, cross country trails and a large picnic area.
You can bring you own picnic basket or braai in the picnic area. There are various size lapas for hire.
Bring your gazebo and camping chairs and enjoy a day outdoors.
The trails are open from sunrise to sunset.
Normal entrance fees apply: R30 per Adult, R20 per Child and R10 per pensioner/walker&runner.
Free parking is available at the main entrance or R40 per vehicle if you park in the picnic area past the Picnic Gate.
Drum Braai stands can be hired for R50 from the farm office.
Day Entrance Tickets are now available from the farm office or Picnic Gate pay point.
If you cycle or walk more regularly, you can buy a bulk Rietvlei Trail Access Card from the farm office that allows 10 entrances.
There are three restaurants on the farm that served delicious meals with great coffee.
