Savanna Origin of Trailsentrants invited to a fun Warm Up Ride in Jonkershoek
The 8th annual Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience will take place in the picturesque town of Stellenbosch on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November 2022. In celebration event organizer, Stillwater Sports together with title sponsor Savanna, are inviting entrants and sponsors to join a fun Warm Up Ride #1in Jonkershoek (Stellenbosch) on Saturday 08 October 2022.
“The goal of the Warm Up Ride is twofold, firstly we’d like to create excitement in the build up to SA’s ‘MTB Party of the Year’, and secondly we’d like to thank our valued sponsors, invited guests and entrants for their support,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports and Founder of the event. “Jonkershoek is iconic to Stellenbosch. Mountain bikers can look forward to experiencing world-class trails and magnificent views. To start the day off on the right foot, we’ll enjoy a light breakfast to help boost energy levels. Once done, riders can look forward to enjoying an ice-cold Savanna Cider as the cherry on the cake after a fantastic morning on the trails.”

Mountain bikers can look forward to experiencing a vast network of world-class and exclusive trails while celebrating the origin of SA mountain biking. Stillwater Sports together with title sponsor, Savanna brings new meaning to the phrase ‘MTB Party of the Year’ with the addition of exhilarating offerings including live performances by a well-known SA comedian, exciting sponsor competitions, an exclusive Pub Ride through Stellenbosch, the option to stay in the First Ascent Tented Village, a Best Dressed Competition, an event party for riders on Saturday evening, and more.

DRESS UP COMPETITION: Stage Two of the Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience (Sunday 20 November) will be Dress Up Day. The two best dressed riders will receive R10 000 in cash as well as ten cases of Savanna(each).
