XTERRA SA Championship returns to Grabouw in February 2017

The action of the 2017 Fedhealth XTERRA SA season will culminate at the Grabouw Country Club the weekend of 24 – 26 February 2017 in the form of the XTERRA SA Championship.

SA’s leading off-road triathlon, the Fedhealth XTERRA consists of a series of events taking place countrywide (Nelson Mandela Bay, Buffelspoort and Grabouw).  Taking the form of the South African Championship, the Fedhealth XTERRA Grabouw forms part of the XTERRA World Tour.  Athletes competing at this event stand the chance to qualify for the world championship final in Hawaii later in the year.

  6-8 years (50m Swim, 1,5km Cycle, 1km Run)
  9-11 years (100m Swim, 5km Cycle, 2km Run)
  12-14 years (200m Swim, 10km Cycle, 3km Run)
  Entry Fee:  R60
Saturday, 25 February 2017 Fedhealth XTERRA Full:  1.5km swim, 28km MTB, 12.5km trail run
  Entry Fee:  Individual R700, Team R1050
Sunday, 26 February 2017 Fedhealth XTERRA Lite:  400m swim, 12.5km MTB, 5km trail run
  Entry Fee:  Individual R450, Team R750
  XTERRA Trail Run
  Entry Fee:  R180/12km, R120/6km
