A motivational talk by cycling great Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio is set to rev up participants ahead of the fourth and final round of the Madibaz XCO Series

The seven-day, 614km race across the Western Cape from February 4 next year takes competitors through some of the most iconic trails in the country and UCI status is set to increase its appeal.

To further enhance the Fedhealth XTERRA Grabouw’s status of being the largest XTERRA in the World, Event Organisers have made an exciting announcement that this flagship event will be the standalone event in South Africa in 2018.

One lucky mountain biker will take home a magnificent Specialized Epic Comp Mountain Bike to the value of R40 000 after completing the BUCO Origin Of Trails Two-Day MTB Stage Race on Saturday, 25 November 2017 and Sunday, 26 November 2017.

The third and final stage of the FNB Wines2Whales (W2W) Mountain Bike (MTB) Events will guide mountain bikers on a 71km journey from Oak Valley Wine Estate to Onrust Caravan Park where the finish line awaits.

The Spur/Red-E and Spur/Valencia teams of Alan Hatherly, Matt Beers, Ariane Luthi and Amy-Beth McDougall secured the 2017 Momentum Health Cape Pioneer Trek, presented by Biogen, titles on Saturday the 21st of October in the Klein Karoo town of Oudtshoorn.

It remains all to race for then, with NAD Pro MTB and Team Ascendis Health afforded one final opportunity to topple Team Spur/Red-E and Team Spur/Valencia from the top of the men’s and women’s general classifications.
