Cape Epic

The Pallarican cyclist Albert Sánchez  travels to South Africa today to participate in the CAPE EPIC , the mountain biking competition considered the equivalent of the Tour de France.

With a prologue on Sunday 15th at the University of Cape Town and through to the following Sunday, March 22, traveling through the natural landscapes of South Africa, the CAPE EPIC is eight stages, 647 km and 15,500 meters of positive slope , numbers that speak for themselves.

Albert Sánchez is the first Pallarican cyclist to participate in this race, open to professionals and amateurs by invitation, as has been the case in order to participate in the pairs competition with Dani Lechado , resident of Andorra and expert in high-level mountain biking. A discipline that requires them to go together the whole race without separating us for more than a minute.

The aim of Albert Sánchez in his participation in the CAPE EPIC is to “live the experience and obtain the best possible result”.

Albert Sánchez participates in CAPE EPIC with Scott bicycle equipment and with the sponsorship of Grupo el Batlliu , SOLEVAR and Viladomat Esports .
