This week, XC and Marathon World Cups will kick off in Nove Mesto Na Morave, a staple of the XC World Cup circuit. South Africans racing include Alan Hatherly, Candice Lill, Daniel Van Der Walt, Johan van Zyl, and Tyler Jacobs in XCO, and Marco Joubert and Tristan Nortje in XCM for round 2 in Finale Ligure, Italy.
The overall standings from the 2022 World Cup XCO and XCC showed Tom Pidcock at the top, who is planning to line up in Nove Mesto this weekend. Nove Mesto na Morave, located in Central Czech Republic, is a popular venue for mountain bike events due to its history, location, and tracks. The XCO Course is known for its technicality, and the short track course will also pose a challenge to riders.
