Nestled in the unspoiled surroundings of the Drakensberg mountain range (a World Heritage Site) lies Cathedral Peak Hotel and offers an enjoyable MTB experience.
Mountains beckon all round, with options such as Mike’s Pass (600m ascent in 1st 11km) with a 16km add-on loop at the top between 1700m and 2000m ASL. (Total ascent 915m.) and the legendary climb to Sani Top on the cards. If, however, you’re in the mood for a somewhat milder ride, opt for a gentle crank through the plantations surrounding the Cathedral Peak Hotel.
There is also 20km technical ride along the golf course loop.
