Getting There:
First of all you have to get yourself to East London. Then find your way to the North-East Express Way ( R72 ). Just after the R72 crosses the N2, and just before it turns into the N6 there is a small turn off to the West called Wyse Avenue. Turn West here and at the T-junction with Old Transkei Main Road, turn Right. This road eventually becomes Smythelands Road. This route starts at the junction between Smythelands and Two Rivers Drive.
Route Description:
This route starts off with some of the best single track East London has to offer, on Hempels Farm( for whom we are forever thankfull for alowing mountain bikers on his grounds!!). Then joins up with some gravel roads in the Horse Shoe Valley area. Then takes in some tar towards Baden Powell Drive before it gets back onto some jeep track and single track back onto Hempels Farm ( for whom we are forever thankfull for alowing mountain bikers on his grounds!!).
