Mountain biking is one of the seven adventure options offered on this farm. Trails are on off-road tracks – a 50km circular route will take you around Langberg Mountain to Vrede and back. On the mountain, a 4X4 mountain bike track, suitable only for fit and experienced bikers goes past the boulders where abseiling and rock climbing can be done.
Overnight facilities: Basic accommodation: The Horse Stable: Lounge/20 seater dining table/pub area downstairs, with hearth & fireplace and fridge. Electricity. Upstairs: 1 room with .20 mattresses. Two semi luxury rooms one with double bed and one with two singles en suite bathroom. Equipped kitchen with gas griller, pots, pans, potjies and kettles. Wood for sale. Bring your own charcoal. Additional ablutions: 2 showers, toilets and basins.
Luxury accommodation: Two chalets each with 2 bedrooms double bed and bunk bed with en suite bathroom. Electricity for lighting only. Donkey fired geyser. Jungle gym for kids. Fireplace in each chalet. Fully equipped kitchen with gas for fridge and two plate stove.
