A well balanced 26km route from the town of Graskop. The trail starts off on the west side of Graskop, making its way through the forest and valleys down to the hidden Forest Falls, Maria Shariah and then climbing back up the escarpment, joining the Fanie Botha Hike coming back into Graskop
This guided trail can be very slippery and wet, semi-slick tyres are not recomended. The trail is well balanced BUT it starts off at 1400m goes down to 1100m and comes back up, so this trail works the other way around
Corner of Bloed Rivier & De Lange Streets on the grass trail heading into the canyon
Jeep track, Single Track (a lot of the track is used for the F2F MTB race)
Permits plus guide
None except toilets at huts for day visitors
Please take along rain jacket as the weather is very unpredictable, plus trail can get extremely slippery and muddy in wet conditions.
