Playgrounds
A fast flowing DH track that is about 2.5km”s long, requires some pedaling, suitable to all skill level riders. Offers big jumps and drops with a few switch-backs and berms for the more skilled riders.
Track starts at the Taal Monument(Language Monument) on the southern side of Paarl Mountain and run through an old quarry where the end is at the bottom of the forest(Dennebos) near a green info board. This is one of the best shuttle-option road available for DH.
Trail Directions
It is a 40-60 minutes drive from Cape Town on the N1 highway. Take the off-ramp leading to Main Street in Paarl. Turn left, head straight for about 200m until you see a notice/direction board that display Courtrai and Taalmonument. Just follow the boards and a long tar road that will take you all the way to the gates, at the top of Playgrounds.
