The establishment of the Vlakkenberg MTB Trail. The trail has been built on private land above the Constantia Nek Estate in Hout Bay. It features a 600m cross country loop that will eventually become a 2.5km course.

The Cross Cape Cycling Route
The new Cross Cape Cycling Route will stretch from Cape Town to Plettenberg bay and will include some of the most scenic parts of the Western Cape. The route will include road track, mountain trails, jeep and forest tracks.
