During the past four months we have looked for every opportunity to make our 2020 events happen.
Unfortunately, the latest regulations on easing of the lockdown restrictions still will not allow for outdoor recreational events in September. The event takes place in a small residential town and the current outlook for COVID-19 does not suggest that these restrictions will be lifted. We have therefore decided to call off the 2020 edition of the R2N events.
Participants who have already entered will be contacted via email to inform them about the refund or entry transfer procedure.
To keep the R2N spirit going, we are planning an alternative 2020 Ride2Nowhere Experience on the event weekend. This will be a 2 day ‘Covid19 Ride Experience’ still respecting government regulations, and those that already entered will be given first option. An easy, intermediate, and fast group means that we have space for 50 riders on the Saturday and Sunday. No timing, no medals, no t-shirts – just good old proper mountain biking fun. Contact email@example.com for more information.
The groups will be hosted and guided by local riders from the McGregor Young Warriors cycling academy. All the proceeds from the weekend will go to this amazing group who develop young riders from the McGregor community.
Ensure you save the dates for R2N Events in 2021. We are celebrating 5 years of the Run2Nowhere and the Ride2Nowhere is 10 years old!
