Delta Park Trails

Delta Park is one of Johannesburg’s most pleasant urban green spaces — a genuine nature reserve in the middle of Randburg with ponds, river channels, open grassland and diverse birdlife. The 8km MTB loop through the park is easy, free and accessible, making it a go-to casual ride for northern Johannesburg residents.

What to Expect

The trail is flat to gently undulating on compacted dirt and gravel paths through the park’s varied habitats. Shared with joggers, dog walkers and birdwatchers — keep speeds sensible and ride with awareness. Delta Park is a legitimate birdwatching destination and the ride doubles as a wildlife experience.

Links to the Spruit

Delta Park connects directly to the Braamfontein Spruit Trail, allowing riders to extend south toward Emmarentia Dam or link northward for a 15km+ combined urban green-corridor outing.
