Pietersburg Game Reserve Ride

The Polokwane Game Reserve is one of the most convenient wildlife experiences in Limpopo’s capital — a substantial municipal game reserve just outside the city centre with white rhino, giraffe, zebra, eland, waterbuck and a diversity of plains game on flat bushveld terrain. The 18km loop follows the reserve’s gravel roads through this well-maintained municipal wildlife area.

What to Expect

Gravel reserve roads on flat to gently rolling Bushveld terrain. Wildlife encounters are frequent — white rhino are particularly well-established and regularly seen close to the reserve roads. The flat terrain makes this one of Limpopo’s most accessible riding options with good wildlife viewing. A practical addition to a Polokwane business trip or travel stop.
