Bethlehem Singletrack Sprint

The Bethlehem Singletrack Sprint delivers a compact 15km of quality riding near the town of Bethlehem in the eastern Free State. Fast-flowing singletrack winds over red sandstone outcrops and through open grassland on a punchy intermediate loop that makes the most of the dramatic koppie terrain on Bethlehem’s doorstep.

What to Expect

The trail is tighter and more technical than the area’s gravel routes, with sandstone rock features, short sharp climbs and satisfying flowing descents. At 15km it’s a route that rewards repeated laps — faster each time as you learn the lines. The red sandstone terrain is unique to the eastern Free State and gives the riding a character all its own.
