The Giba Gorge Green Route is the beginner trail at one of KZN’s finest MTB venues — 8km of smooth, well-built singletrack through the indigenous gorge vegetation that introduces new riders to the singletrack experience in a beautiful natural setting. The full venue facilities — pump track, café, skills area — make Giba an ideal first-day MTB destination.
What to Expect
Smooth beginner singletrack on flat to gently rolling gorge terrain. No technical demands — appropriate for first-time singletrack riders including children. The indigenous gorge setting provides natural beauty throughout and the café at the trailhead makes the post-ride recovery enjoyable for the whole family.
