How do I get to the Magaliesberg MTB trail starting point?

Take the Tarlton–Rustenburg road through the town of Magaliesburg. Look for a 'Rustenburg 20km' signboard on the left. Approximately 1km past that sign, watch for a small black-and-white 'Potgieter' signboard — this marks the entrance to the farm where the trail is located.

Beautiful single track downhill to the river, a majestic single track parallel to the river through indigenous trees to the base of the hill.A very technical up hill track to the top of the plateau and from there on jeep track through the grasslands passing early “Iron smelting” works .

Take the Tarlton Rustenburg road through the small town of Magaliesburg. A signboard “RUSTENBURG 20KM” on the left hand side going towards Rustenburg will appear, 1km past the sign board a small sign board “Potgieter”, in black and white will be seen. This is the entrance to the farm. Drive up to the farmstead and ask for Allan Potgieter the owner.
