Buffalo Gorge Yellow Trail
The Buffalo Gorge Yellow Trail is the second tier at this excellent highland venue — 14km of intermediate singletrack through the Dullstroom highland landscape with more variety, terrain change and challenge than the white trail while remaining accessible to confident recreational riders. The yellow route introduces the forest sections and stream crossings that make Buffalo Gorge’s trail system distinctive.
What to Expect
Flowing singletrack on moderately varied highland terrain with grassland, forest and stream crossing sections. Intermediate fitness and basic singletrack skills are appropriate. The trout stream crossings add character and the highland grassland birdlife — which includes a remarkable diversity of grassland raptors — is a constant companion.
