Clearwater Trails 10km Loop

Clearwater Trails is one of KwaZulu-Natal’s finest private trail venues — a dedicated MTB facility near Hilton in the midlands with an impressive trail network through indigenous bush, a pump track and full venue facilities. The 10km Loop is the intermediate option — flowing, well-built singletrack through the indigenous thornbush of the Hilton area.

What to Expect

Flowing singletrack on moderately rolling terrain through indigenous KZN bush. Clearwater is known for the quality of its trail building — smooth, purposeful singletrack that rewards skillful riding. The 10km loop packs varied terrain and good flow into a compact route accessible to intermediate riders.

Clearwater’s Facilities

The venue’s pump track is one of the best in the KZN midlands — worth warming up on before the trails. Accommodation on site makes this a convenient overnight riding destination from Durban or Pietermaritzburg.
