Cathedral Peak Circuit
Cathedral Peak Hotel is one of South Africa’s most celebrated mountain hotels — a legendary Drakensberg retreat below the dramatic Cathedral Peak massif that has hosted guests for nearly 80 years. Gravel roads and mountain tracks on advanced terrain with significant elevation change in the Drakensberg foothills. The Cathedral Peak massif and the Drakensberg escarpment provide a consistently spectacular backdrop — on clear days the views extend across the entire Central Drakensberg. The altitude (above 1,600m) adds a physiological challenge to the physical demands of the terrain.
