Wolwespruit Bike Park is Pretoria’s purpose-built skills and features venue — a park specifically designed around jumps, drops, rock gardens and bermed singletrack for riders who want to develop technical jump and features skills in a controlled environment rather than discovering them by accident on natural terrain. The bike park format differs fundamentally from the trail networks elsewhere in Gauteng: the focus is on short, repeatable technical sections that can be lapped multiple times for skills progression, rather than distance and navigation.

The Features

The main 10km technical network at Wolwespruit incorporates a progression of jump lines from small rollable features to proper table tops and step-downs, rock gardens with multiple line choices, bermed corners on the singletrack connectors, and drop features of varying commitment level. The park design allows riders to start on entry-level features and progress systematically through the difficulty grades — appropriate for riders developing jump skills who want structured progression rather than trial-and-error on natural terrain. The enduro loop extends the session with a longer format circuit using the park’s most challenging sections in a connected route.

Combined with Pump Track

The adjacent pump track (see dedicated listing) complements the bike park’s features trail — warm-up on the pump track, technical sessions on the jump lines, and pump track cool-down laps makes for a complete skills day at the Wolwespruit facility.
