Faerie Glen Nature Reserve Trails
Faerie Glen Nature Reserve is a compact urban reserve on Pretoria’s eastern edge offering 10km of enjoyable intermediate singletrack. Trails climb the rocky koppies that define the reserve’s landscape, with technical rocky sections and good views across the eastern suburbs from the higher ridgelines.
What to Expect
Rocky koppie climbing is the defining feature — expect loose stones, natural rock features and steep short climbs. Technical difficulty is moderate but the rocky terrain rewards riders who pick clean lines. The reserve is small enough to lap multiple times for a fuller workout.
Getting There
Located in Faerie Glen, east of Pretoria. Access from Atterbury Road or Nellmapius Drive. GPS: -25.7789, 28.3234.
