Hoedspruit 20km Bushveld Loop

The Hoedspruit 20km Bushveld Loop extends the shorter savanna ride into a more satisfying intermediate outing — following gravel farm roads and bush tracks further into the mopane woodland west of Hoedspruit. Private game farms border the route and wildlife including elephant and giraffe occasionally move across the farm roads.

What to Expect

Gravel farm roads and bush tracks on flat to very gently rolling Lowveld terrain. The mopane woodland creates an enclosed, aromatic riding environment that is very different from the more open grassland of the Highveld. The Lowveld birdlife — rollers, hornbills, starlings and an extraordinary diversity of raptors — is a constant companion.
