Hazyview Crocodile Valley Ride

Hazyview is Mpumalanga’s gateway tourism hub — a bustling Lowveld town at the junction of the R40 and R536, positioned between the Kruger National Park to the east and the Drakensberg Escarpment to the west. The surrounding Crocodile Valley is intensely productive subtropical farmland growing mangoes, bananas, citrus and tropical fruits. The 25km Valley Ride explores the farm roads through this lush agricultural landscape.

What to Expect

Gravel roads and farm tracks on flat to gently rolling subtropical valley terrain. The tropical fruit farming landscape — tall mango trees, banana plantations and the intense green of the Lowveld — creates an immersive subtropical riding environment unlike anywhere else in Mpumalanga. The Crocodile River nearby provides birdlife and the Escarpment wall to the west creates a dramatic backdrop.
