Mankele Blue Route
Mankele MTB Park is one of South Africa’s premier dedicated MTB venues — established in 2007 in the Escarpment bush between Lydenburg and Dullstroom, Mankele has developed a trail system and venue facility that consistently ranks among the finest in the country. The Blue Route is the intermediate option: 20km of flowing singletrack through the indigenous Escarpment bush with the quality trail-building craftsmanship that defines Mankele’s reputation.
What to Expect
Flowing singletrack on moderately rolling Escarpment bush terrain. The trail quality is exceptional — purposeful, flowing and rewarding. The indigenous bush setting — characteristic Escarpment vegetation with proteas, indigenous trees and the lush green that characterises the high-rainfall Escarpment zone — provides a consistently beautiful riding environment. The venue facilities are among the best at any dedicated MTB park in Mpumalanga.
