Elangeni Resort Loop

Elangeni Forest Lodge sits in the forested country east of Sabie — the heart of Mpumalanga’s plantation and indigenous forest landscape where the Sabie area has developed into arguably South Africa’s finest MTB destination. The 15km Resort Loop uses the lodge’s trail access through plantation forest and indigenous bush on a well-varied intermediate route.

What to Expect

Forest tracks and singletrack on moderately rolling forest terrain. Plantation forest sections provide open, fast riding through pine and eucalyptus, transitioning to indigenous bush singletrack with more technical character. The Sabie area’s lush forest setting — one of Mpumalanga’s most beautiful environments — provides a consistently gorgeous backdrop.
