Middelburg Eco Zone Ride
Bezhoek Private Nature Reserve near Middelburg is the primary MTB riding hub in the Nkangala District — a private nature reserve with over 148 mapped trails on Trailforks providing singletrack and reserve track riding through the Highveld bushveld of the Middelburg area. The 20km Eco Zone Ride covers the most varied and scenic sections of the reserve network.
What to Expect
Singletrack and reserve tracks on moderately rolling Highveld bushveld terrain. The reserve’s game — including various antelope species, warthog and a diversity of Highveld birds — adds wildlife interest throughout. The singletrack quality reflects dedicated local trail-building effort. A popular venue for Middelburg-based riders.
