Buffalo Gorge Orange Trail
The Buffalo Gorge Orange Trail is the advanced option at this exceptional Dullstroom venue — a 25km loop that descends into the buffalo gorge itself with technical rocky sections, challenging climbs out of the gorge and the full physical and technical demand of the highland terrain at its most dramatic. The gorge’s indigenous forest and the stream below add to the visual quality of an already outstanding trail.
What to Expect
Technical singletrack with rocky gorge sections and sustained climbing on advanced highland terrain. The gorge descent is the centrepiece — steep, technical and surrounded by dense indigenous forest. The climb out requires strength and skill. Expert highland weather awareness is essential — conditions in the Dullstroom gorge can change rapidly.
