Buffalo Gorge Blue Trail

Buffalo Gorge MTB Park sits in the Dullstroom Highlands — one of Mpumalanga’s most scenically distinct environments where high-altitude grassland, indigenous forest pockets and clear trout streams create a landscape of exceptional quality. The Blue Trail is the intermediate option at this well-developed venue: 18km of flowing singletrack with grassland and forest sections and consistent highland views.

What to Expect

Flowing singletrack on moderately rolling highland terrain through grassland and indigenous forest. Trout stream crossings add variety and the characteristic Dullstroom mist — which can descend at any time of year — creates atmospheric riding conditions. The highland grassland is rich in birds and the indigenous forest sections are botanically diverse.
