Ngaka Modiri Molema 20km

The 20km extended Ngaka Modiri Molema loop ventures further west from Mahikeng into the drier Bushveld of the district’s interior — gravel roads and bush tracks through the thornveld and community farming landscape with the Botswana border corridor providing a quietly adventurous riding context. Carry adequate water — facilities are minimal on the extended route.

What to Expect

Gravel roads and bush tracks on flat to gently rolling semi-arid terrain. The deeper Bushveld sections on the extended route have more game interest — gemsbok, springbok and the Kalahari-adapted birdlife are more frequently encountered further from the urban fringe.
