Cascades Green Route
The Cascades Green Route is the entry-level trail at the Cascades MTB Park — 8km of smooth, flowing singletrack through indigenous bush that introduces riders to the Cascades trail system without technical demands. Well-built and well-maintained, the green route is suitable for beginners, families and riders looking for a relaxed bush riding experience close to Pietermaritzburg.
What to Expect
Smooth flowing singletrack on flat to gently rolling terrain through indigenous thornbush. Clear waymarking and beginner-appropriate gradients throughout. The bush setting provides wildlife sightings and a genuine nature experience despite the proximity to the city.
