Nambiti Game Reserve Trail

Nambiti Private Game Reserve is one of KwaZulu-Natal’s most prestigious Big 5 reserves — 23,000 acres of prime KZN bushveld near Ladysmith with all of the Big 5, extensive plains game and one of the most professional guiding operations in the province. The guided MTB trail delivers the Big 5 experience on two wheels — a genuinely extraordinary wildlife riding experience available nowhere else in KZN.

What to Expect

Guided game reserve tracks on flat to gently rolling bushveld terrain. Riding is necessarily at a slow, wildlife-aware pace with the guide managing all game encounters. Lion, leopard and elephant are all resident — the probability of significant wildlife encounters on the trail is very high. This is one of South Africa’s most unique and memorable MTB experiences.

All MTB activities at Nambiti are fully guided — independent riding is not permitted in this Big 5 reserve. Book through the lodge as part of an accommodation package for the best experience.
