Tranquilitas Blue Trail

Tranquilitas Adventure Farm is one of South Africa’s finest multi-activity adventure destinations — a family-run farm on the Waterval Boven Escarpment with 80km of SAPPI singletrack, over 600 rock climbing routes and accommodation in a spectacular valley setting. The blue trail is the intermediate showcase: 20km of flowing, purpose-built singletrack through the SAPPI plantation and indigenous forest of the Elands Valley, built by trail-building legend Glenn Harrison.

What to Expect

Flowing singletrack on moderately rolling forest terrain through SAPPI plantation and indigenous forest. The trail-building quality at Tranquilitas is exceptional — smooth, flowing and purposeful with wooden bridges, bermed corners and flow features that make the riding genuinely joyful. The Elands Valley setting is spectacular: the Escarpment walls tower above and the valley below creates a dramatic natural backdrop.
