Cintsa Coastal Trail
Cintsa is a small coastal village at the mouth of the Cintsa River — a lagoon, estuary and beach destination with the characteristic Wild Coast combination of lush coastal vegetation, Indian Ocean views and relaxed village atmosphere. The 18km Coastal Trail follows singletrack through the coastal terrain north and south of the village with consistent ocean and lagoon views.
What to Expect
Coastal singletrack and beach sections on flat to gently rolling coastal terrain. The lagoon estuary, ocean beach and coastal bush create constantly changing scenery on a ride that’s as much about the environment as the cycling. Sandy sections require lower tyre pressure for comfort and traction.
Getting There
Cintsa is 50km north of East London on the N2. GPS: -32.8412, 28.1023.
