Drakensberg Boys Choir Trail
The Drakensberg Boys Choir School is one of South Africa’s most celebrated educational institutions — a boarding school in the Champagne Valley whose internationally renowned choir has performed for royalty worldwide. The school’s setting in the Central Drakensberg foothills is exceptional and the surrounding gravel roads and mountain tracks offer rewarding intermediate riding with the escarpment as a constant backdrop.
What to Expect
Gravel roads and mountain tracks on moderately rolling Drakensberg foothills terrain. The Champagne Valley landscape — with the Central Drakensberg escarpment wall providing a dramatic western boundary — is one of the most beautiful valley environments in KwaZulu-Natal. The riding is intermediate and the scenery consistently excellent.
