Morgan’s Bay Coastal Loop
Morgan’s Bay is a beloved Wild Coast resort village — a small lagoon settlement surrounded by dramatic coastal cliffs, pristine beaches and the lush subtropical vegetation of the south Wild Coast. The 16km Coastal Loop explores the clifftop terrain and lagoon paths around the village with consistent Indian Ocean and lagoon views.
What to Expect
Coastal singletrack and gravel tracks on rolling clifftop terrain. The combination of dramatic cliffs, the calm lagoon and the open Indian Ocean creates outstanding visual variety. The Wild Coast’s characteristic green coastal hills and the clear blue ocean water make this one of the most scenically rewarding short loops in the Eastern Cape.
Getting There
Morgan’s Bay is on the Wild Coast, 85km north of East London. GPS: -32.6956, 28.3289.
