B’sorah Trails
B’sorah Trails offer one of Gauteng’s most distinctive riding experiences — 40km of singletrack on a private conservancy near Broederstroom where game viewing is part of the ride. Giraffe, zebra and impala are regular trail companions, and the indigenous bushveld setting feels genuinely remote despite being under an hour from Johannesburg.
The Routes
Three loops cater to different abilities. The 10km Green Loop is accessible to beginners with gentle terrain and good game-viewing sections. The 18km Blue Loop introduces more climbing and technical rocky sections. The 30km Long Route is for riders wanting a proper half-day outing with maximum wildlife exposure.
What Makes B’sorah Unique
Unlike most Gauteng trail centres set in urban reserves, B’sorah is active conservancy land — animals have right of way and encounters are frequent and unscripted. It’s authentic African bushveld riding.
Getting There
From Hartbeespoort take the R512 north toward Broederstroom. Follow B’sorah signs from the village. GPS: -25.7634, 27.8341.
