Lindley 22.66 Mile Route

Lindley is a small agricultural town in the eastern Free State with access to an extensive gravel road network through productive Highveld farmland. The 36km loop is the shortest of three Lindley routes, exploring the farming landscape immediately surrounding the town on well-maintained gravel roads.

What to Expect

Flat to gently rolling terrain on gravel farm roads through a working agricultural landscape. The riding is steady and rhythmic — this is gravel cycling in its most authentic form, with the farming landscape providing seasonal variation throughout the year. Spring wildflowers (August–October) add colour to the roadside.
