Highlands Meander 15km
The Highlands Meander is Mpumalanga’s equivalent of the KZN Midlands Meander — an arts, crafts, food and accommodation route through the Dullstroom Highlands linking studios, fly-fishing lodges, restaurants and guest farms. The 15km riding version is a relaxed gravel meander through the most accessible section of the route on easy highland terrain.
What to Expect
Gravel roads on flat to gently rolling highland grassland terrain. The focus is on the meander’s cultural and culinary attractions as much as the riding — plan for stops at studios and restaurants along the route. Dullstroom’s characteristic highland mist and cool air create an atmospheric riding environment even on the shorter loop.
Getting There
Start in Dullstroom on the R540. GPS: -25.4312, 30.0923.
