Duiwelskloof Forest Ride
Duiwelskloof (renamed Modjadjiskloof in honour of the Modjadji Rain Queen) sits in the green Wolkberg foothills east of Tzaneen — a lush, forested town in one of Limpopo’s most biologically diverse areas. The surrounding plantation forests, tea estates and avocado farms create a productive agricultural and forested landscape ideal for forest road riding. The mystical Modjadji Cycad Reserve is nearby.
What to Expect
Forest tracks and gravel roads on moderately rolling forest terrain through plantation and indigenous bush. The Wolkberg foothills landscape is lush and green — a striking contrast to the surrounding Limpopo Bushveld. The approach to the Modjadji Cycad Reserve area adds botanical interest to the riding route.
