Vuwani Forest Path

Vuwani is in the Makhado District of northern Limpopo — a rural Venda community area in the subtropical landscape between Louis Trichardt and Thohoyandou. The 18km Forest Path follows gravel roads and forest tracks through the rural landscape around the town with indigenous forest patches, subtropical agricultural land and the characteristic warm, green character of the northern Limpopo Venda highlands.

What to Expect

Gravel roads and forest tracks on moderately rolling rural terrain. The subtropical Venda landscape — mango and marula trees, indigenous forest patches and the warm productive farmland of northern Limpopo — creates a characterful riding environment. An off-the-beaten-track riding destination in one of South Africa’s most culturally distinctive landscapes.
